From a rented kitchen to a growing brand
Saucy Sows began in 2010 with two products and a rented commercial kitchen that cost $20 an hour. With just our Sweet Pepper Mustards—Original and Spicy—we focused on one thing: creating flavors people would come back for. That commitment laid the foundation for everything that followed.
Built to Grow
Expanding flavor without cutting corners
As demand grew, so did our lineup. By partnering with a trusted co-packer, we expanded beyond our flagship mustards to include BBQ sauces, glazes and marinades, horseradish sauces, mayos, dry rubs and seasonings, and pork snack sticks—while maintaining the quality we’re known for.

Turning Saucy Sows into a household name
Today, Saucy Sows is carried in approximately 300 locations across Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Kentucky, with a growing online presence and loyal following. After five years operating a successful retail store—recognized as 2023 Business of the Year—we returned to our original vision: building Saucy Sows into a nationwide brand.
